Journalism

I have more than eight years of award-winning journalism experience at three newspapers. As a staff reporter, I covered topics such as breaking news, education, immigration, social services and politics at two former Tribune Co. daily newspapers, and reported on criminal law, international law and other topics for The National Law Journal, a New York-based weekly legal newspaper. My work has been honored with 12 awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, an international fellowship, and a Special Achievement Award for immigration coverage.

I also wrote two cover stories for the Corporate Counsel magazine and have been published in Thomson Reuters Foundation, New York Daily News, Washington Post’s On Parenting, PassBlue, Parent.Co and BillyYTZ (here and here).
