6 Surprising Things About Being a European Mom in America


As a communications professional, I often write under other people’s names – and about difficult human rights issues. I recently took some time to write a fun piece about my experience as a Croatian parent in the United States for The Washington Post. It was interesting to get so many comments not only from Croatian and Serbian parents, but also those from non-European countries. I guess parenting can make a lot of us feel like foreigners, regardless of where we’re from.
